London 10th May 2024 – Codex is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of its three-day tech conference, “World’s Top 50 Innovators 2024,” held at the esteemed venue of The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in London.
The event, which took place from May 8th to May 10th, brought together a distinguished lineup of CEOs and industry leaders to explore the latest trends and innovations shaping the future of technology.

“Quantum computing is needed to unlock new possibilities in vaccine development and recession prediction,” highlighting the transformative potential of quantum computing in addressing complex challenges. “Quantum computing is needed because due to limited computing power only 100 variants of vaccines were tested however if higher computing power may be available then perhaps 100,000 variants of vaccines could have been tested”, “Moody can only predict 25 per cent of recession accurately because of lower computing power”
The conference also shed light on the challenges and opportunities facing the banking sector. “Banks are the museum of technologies as they are still using COBOL programming from the 1990s,” remarked a speaker, highlighting the need for modernization and innovation in the financial industry.
Other topics discussed included digital identity, scalability barriers, the shift towards private exchanges, innovation in startups, and the potential of bio-printing technology and quantum computing to revolutionize healthcare and scientific research. “AI can replace all customer service jobs,” predicts one speaker, shedding light on the potential impact of AI on the future of work.
Commenting on the global shift towards private exchanges, One speaker observes, “Across the world, there is a shift from public exchange to private exchange, driven by the need for greater security and efficiency.” “To develop private exchanges, first identify all the transaction points and then digitize them,” outlining a strategic approach to building private exchange platforms.
“Innovation is happening mostly in startups,” highlighting the role of startups in driving technological breakthroughs and disrupting traditional industries.
Discussing the potential of bio-printing technology, “Bio-printing of cells may cure incurable diseases and help improve the quality of life.”

Commenting on the security implications of quantum computing, concerns about potential data breaches and encryption vulnerabilities. For example, concerns if Quantum computing from China may break RSA encryption, then data may be lost or even worse, companies may not be able to access their data.
“Focusing on the shift from internal combustion engines to electric vehicles is crucial for achieving net-zero targets,” underscoring the importance of sustainable transportation solutions. Only 2 percent of the UK vehicle are electrical and very few charging points.
“Construction industry accounts for 37 percent of global carbon emissions,” highlighting the need for sustainable building practices to address climate change.
