PRESS RELEASE: London, UK, 9th Sept 2024 – The IIFA Modinagar is proud to host a Diwali Charity Dinner: Celebrating Light and Inner Happiness at the prestigious BAFTA 195 Piccadilly, London, on Wednesday, 16th October 2024. The event promises to be a remarkable evening filled with elegance, culture, and goodwill, bringing together art lovers, educationists, philanthropists, and renowned personalities from across the globe.
The event’s primary goal is to raise vital funds for The Inner Happiness Foundation, which is committed to promoting mental well-being, education, and self-enlightenment & to support the collaborative educational efforts between London’s Royal Drawing School and the IIFA, India, by facilitating the visit of esteemed teachers from the School to IIFA. This cross-cultural exchange will promote creativity and artistic growth for underprivileged students in India.
A Night of Elegance, Celebration, and Giving Back
Guests will enjoy a truly star-studded evening, commencing with a champagne and canapé reception, followed by a seated dinner featuring an award-winning culinary experience curated by BAFTA’s own Michelin-star chef. Alongside the dinner, the evening will offer an exciting array of entertainment, including performances from celebrated artists, and will close with an exclusive DJ set.
One of the evening’s highlights will be an entertaining charity auction, where guests will have the opportunity to bid on unique, once-in-a-lifetime experiences and valuable lots. All proceeds will go towards the development of programmes for the disadvantaged promoted by the Inner Happiness Foundation through the community of Sant’ Egidio, including supporting the visiting teachers from the Royal Drawing School London.

In a special moment during the event, the Dayawati Modi Award for Art, Culture, and Education 2024 will be presented to the legendary humanitarian, Mr. Mario Marazziti. Mr. Marazziti is being recognized for his lifelong commitment to making a global impact through philanthropy and humanitarian work. Previous recipients include Mother Teresa, HH The Dalai Lama, etc.
