(Q)Please tell us about yourself as a person and your hobbies.
I consider myself to be an active person. I like to keep busy and I’m always doing something. I enjoy all different types of exercise and I have an X bike at home which is so much fun to ride. I Enjoy learning new skills all the time, I think I’m a good student, learning makes me feel happy and satisfied as I feel each time you learn you improve yourself a little.
(Q)How did you get started into dancing?
I started dancing at the age of 5 at the same time as my sister who was older than me. My mum was passionate about dancing and we all did lots of after school activities and sports.
(Q)Please tell us about your daily training while preparing for Strictly come dancing.
Training during my year varies depending on what I’m working on, I could be teaching private lessons, group classes or choreographing new routines etc. However during strictly we could be rehearsing between 4 to 8 hrs a day plus group training and choreographing with our professional partners for show dances.
(Q)How do you motivate yourself when feeling down?
We all have days when we feel down, but I always try to remember that I’m in control as to how I feel so I ask myself ‘do you want to feel down, or would you rather this was a great day full of motivation And most of the time that works I also feel the more I exercise the more motivated I feel, I think that’s the key, you have to start somewhere and then the benefits keep you motivated and more positive.

(Q)Please tell us about your normal diet. (Ex. Generally, what you eat in Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, etc.)
I have a varied diet,
I love real Italian coffee in the morning with semi skimmed milk, cereal or toast.
Lunch always depends on where I am and what I’m doing however if I’m at home I’ll probably have a bowl of pasta.
Dinner is usually meat, fish or chicken with salad.
I have an occasional snack when I need a burst of energy and I enjoy Maxitone definity bars or shakes which aid toning together with a balanced diet.
(Q)What according to you are the three most important tips for staying healthy?
Being active, and this means not just exercising but even keeping busy around the house, I sometimes get more worn out doing housework than anything else!
Try to buy less naughty food for your cupboards, if you can leave the naughty things on the supermarket shelves they won’t be in your kitchen for you to have, however once you have them in your cupboard it’s almost impossible to say no… I am however all for the occasional treat but that’s the secret it should be a treat…
(Q)What is the secret of your incredible figure?
Basically, I’m lucky, not because I can eat anything I like but because I enjoy the benefits of keeping fit and busy.
