Jaipur Vipassana Dhamma Thali

Very convenient to reach & proactively well managed Vipassana Center in the north India. A must visit for everyone.

Vipassana Jaipur Reviews and Experience:

Before you enrolled in Jaipur for vipassana, please note there seem to be two vipassana centers. Dhamma Thali near Galta Temple is the main center in Jaipur and perhaps the biggest and oldest center in the North India.

Jaipur Vipassana Center is quite big and many vipassana courses are running at the same time in various dhamma halls.

Phitsanulok Vipassana Reviews

The biggest plus point in Dhamma Thali Jaipur center is that

-It is very near from the main Jaipur train station, say hardly 10 or 12 kilometers and takes around 30 to 40 minutes depending upon the traffic via auto or car and still very peaceful surroundings.

-Jaipur main station is also very well connected from all the main train stations in India so reach is very convenient. In addition one can also reach via Air and Bus.

Lucknow Vipassana Center reviews

-If you are a old vipassana meditator and prefer individual room, I believe they do provide single room along with attached bath for students enroled in Satipattana and long courses.

-Center is very well managed. I find there admin shri Anil ji along with his team members taking extra pains to ensure every meditator gets the maximum benefits.

-You will also find peaceful peacocks in the dhamma center premises 🙂

-Laundry service is also available at very economical price in the Jaipur Vipassana center.

Poland Vipassana Centre Reviews

Areas where Jaipur Vipassana Centre can improve:

Actually it is more to do with meditators than Jaipur Vipassana center itself. I don’t know why but meditators spit wherever they like in the dhamma center which is very strange. I strongly believe nobody spit in their own home so why do they spit there beyond my understanding.

Similarly I find many meditators coughing everywhere even in the dining hall without covering their mouth which is again strange and inconvenient to many.

I think management can explain the basic hygiene knowledge while briefing the students on day 0 before the course start and also more posters on the wall explaining that it is prohibited as It will help prevent germs.

Except hygiene issue because of fellow meditators, overall my experience at Jaipur Vipassana Centre was very good.

Food at Jaipur Vipassana: Please note that food at all the vipassana center across the world is vegetarian only.

Igatpuri Vipassana Reviews

Point to note: All Dhamma servers and teachers are volunteering for free. Also All vipassana centers runs because of the donations from previous students and the trusties/management charity, so ideally all new students shouldn’t expect hotel type arrangement and try to adjust.

What you must carry with yourself to the meditation center:

(1)Mosquitoes cream (Although I didn’t needed as I visited in the month of March but ideally good to have)

(2)Torch

(3)Soap

(4)Alarm Clock

(5)Toothpaste and brush

(6)Toilet roll as some of the rooms have attached western seat.

(7)One pair of slippers.
