Bollywood well-known Filmmaker Kunal Kohli will be attending the AFI charity event in London at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly on the Wednesday 31st of MAY 2017.
Kunal Kohli is a well known Indian film director, producer, and writer known for his remarkable work in Bollywood. He is best known as the director of Hum Tum (2004) and Fanaa (2006). He also owns the production house Kunal Kohli Productions. Kunal Kohli started his career as a film critic in the late 1990s. He made his directorial debut with the television series Trikon.
Sir Richard Attenborough was honored by Arts for India charity in 2016 posthumously.
Speaking on this occasion with Subodh Gupta editor Journalism News Network, Kunal Kohli commented: “Arts for India charity is a wonderful initiative that must be supported by one and all.”
In addition to Kunal Kohli, other stars attending the Gala event will be Tamannaah Bhatia, Vanessa Redgrave CBE, Kunjue Li, Shekhar Kapoor.
Arts for India (AFI) – a charity registered in U.K.- was established in 2010 to support IIFA in its endeavors. Arts for India holds fundraising events for IIFA and garners sponsorships for the underprivileged students at IIFA.

Kunal first film was Mujhse Dosti Karoge did not fare well at the box office. However, his second venture Hum Tum, was one of the biggest hits of 2004 and established him as a director in the Indian film industry.
He later directed Fanaa, starring Aamir Khan and Kajol. Fanaa, was released in May 2006 and became one of the biggest hits of 2006. This film was banned in the state of Gujarat due to some controversy against the lead actor Aamir Khan. Kohli also directed and co-produced the Yash Raj film Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic (2008), starring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Rishi Kapoor and Amisha Patel.
