UIA Airlines customer service very courteous from air hostesses to customer services in ticketing department in addition airline quite clean and decent leg space.
I had traveled 5 times via UIA Airlines in the last one year and I find so far UIA Ukraine International airlines quite decent, punctual, clean & economical as well in addition to adequate leg space which is very important specially if you are taking long distance flight.
.The reason I felt prompted to write reviews was because of the pleasant experience I had while dealing with the UIA customer service so far although there are some ways they can make it more better.
I find UIA Airlines customer service quite prompt and professional unlike Air India where unfortunately from top management to customer service hardly anybody care about the customers and no wonder Air India Airline going in huge losses.
How to: UIA Airline cancellation
I had to cancel my UIA air ticket DELHI -LONDON sector just one day before my departure and needed information.
Although UIA seems to have arrangement with Stic Travel In Delhi but STic travel didn’t seem to be of much help as for 30 minutes their phone was never picked up and later when it was picked up they said since ticket is bought directly from UIA site so I need to contact UIA directly, although they did provide me email to customer service.
Anyhow I used UIA website by filling the form and their customer service rep

Reservation & Ticketing Department not only provided me adequate information but also resolved the issue promptly at the last moment.

Change travel date of UIA Airlines and Cancellation
As of now while writing this review: UIA Airlines involve human interface to be contacted to change or cancel the air ticket.
Charges for change in ticket depends upon the type of ticket you are flying with. With economy non refundable ticket – to change the date of your flight involves penalty of 100 EUR payment + service fee 40 USD + possible fare difference.
Although there is no online way to know the fare difference but I find customer service is quite prompt in letting you know the dates when fare difference is minimum.
Also even when your UIA Air ticket is non refundable economy class still UIA airline seem transparent and upfront in letting you know the refundable Unused airport taxes.
I find UIA customer service rep Irina Bondarenko along with few others from UIA very efficient in proving information and resolving refund issues. Dealing with UIA was much better experience than dealing with scrupulous travel agent such as TicketstoIndia appointed by Air India.
